Indications	The test can be used to predict anticoagulation response to clopidogrel or aid in drug selection and dose alteration for drugs metabolized by CYP2C19. CYP2C19 drug metabolism is dependent on the specific genotypes detected and type of drugs administered to the patient.
Specimen Required	3-5 mL of whole blood in sterile EDTA (lavender top) tube
Storage/Transport	The sample can be kept at ambient temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerated for up to 1 week. Do not freeze. The sample can be transported at room temperature if sent within a few hours.
Method	In-house real-time polymerase chain reaction
Test Results	CYP2C19 genotype with suggested phenotype
Turnaround Time	1-5 calendar days
