Our department's vision is to actively partner patients, caregivers, and their healthcare providers to deliver excellent pharmacy services that are patient-centered and accessible.

The pharmacists at Singapore General Hospital are integral partners in multidisciplinary care teams. We support patient care by ensuring appropriate and safe medication use to achieve best treatment outcomes. Our pharmacists are an important link who facilitate patients' medication management between multiple healthcare providers across different care settings. SGH pharmacists empower patients to take charge of their own health through motivational counselling and equipping patients with knowledge of their medications.

Underpinning our provision of excellent care, is our department's spirit of research and innovation. Our research activities seek answers to what constitutes best care to our patients and support the delivery of cutting edge medicine in our academic medical centre.
