SGH@Home

SGH@Home, also known as Mobile In-patient Care@Home (MIC@Home), is a home hospitalization service that gives patients the option to be cared for in their own homes, instead of an acute hospital ward.

SGH@Home has also become a mainstream model of care in Singapore’s public healthcare system, allowing patients to utilize Medisave, Medishield Life, and Integrated Shield Plans under the progamme.

Alongside our SGH@Home care team, SGH@Home is supported by  SGH’s specialist departments and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care for our patients.

What type of patients are suitable for SGH@Home?

SGH@Home focuses on patients with general medical conditions and those recovering from surgery.

Based on the patient’s condition, the attending doctor will initiate a referral to the SGH@Home care team. SGH@Home care team will then review patient’s suitability.

Patients are not able to self-enrol in the programme. However, patients may speak to their attending doctor if they are interested in the programme.
