22 - 23 February 2024
‘How do stroke survivors continue living their lives when they discharge from acute rehabilitation service?’
‘How should our interventions differ at different time points of their recovery journey?’
This 2-day course aims to build on your prior knowledge on the ‘science’ of stroke rehabilitation (e.g. the different treatment modalities) by examining how our rehabilitation strategies should be adjusted according to our patient’s life trajectory following a stroke. The course will utilise case studies to build understanding on the stroke recovery trajectory from a patient's perspective, review different building blocks of stroke rehab (Eg. motor, sensory) and its applications.
