Breaking the Silence: Communicating with Children and Adults with Hearing Loss

Hearing loss of any degree can have debilitating impact on a person’s speech and language development, as well as on their communication. This course aims at introducing different types and degrees of hearing loss in patients, different technological solutions available and the ABCs of the Auditory-Verbal approach in addressing hearing impairment.

Participants will be engaged in case studies to enrich learning experience.
