Synonym(s):

What are PROMs?

Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) are tools used to capture patient's health status, quality of life and well-being. By asking them about their personal experiences and views about their health, their responses are translated into scores that are valuable for decision making.

How PROMs look like

Depending on the patients' conditions, one or more types of PROMs questionnaires will be given.

Disease-specific

Asks about the symptoms and issues related to a particular condition, offering more detailed information about how the specific illness affects them.

Generic

Asks about the overall health and well-being of patients.
