Research and Development

The Division of Pathology constantly strives to contribute to the advancement of patient care through research and developmental work. Constant evaluation and updating of test methodologies, media and equipment are aimed at providing better diagnosis, reducing running costs, increasing accuracy, reproducibility, and efficiency of test procedures with faster turnaround times of laboratory reports.

Research work undertaken by staff includes projects and clinical studies conducted in collaboration with colleagues in clinical departments and institutions, both local and overseas.
