Send formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue block to the Histopathology Section, Department of Pathology, SGH. If sending slide sections, send at least 8 sections of 8 micrometres thickness, or at least 20 sections of 5 micrometres thickness. One H&E slide, 4 micrometre thick, with a coverslip as a reference slide for the unstained slides, must also be included. |
