Reference Interval / Value	≥ 13 yrs: The HbA1c target for most non-pregnant adults with type 1 or 2 diabetes should be < 7.0% or < 53 mmol/mol. Please refer to the latest Ministry of Health guidelines for further details on target HbA1c values, frequency of testing and the use of HbA1c as a screening test for diabetes.
