Urogynaecology

An integral team within the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Singapore General Hospital's urogynaecology team looks after patients with pelvic organ prolapse, recurrent urinary tract infection and urinary incontinence. We provide outpatient consultation and treatment, urodynamics services and surgical care e.g. tension-free vaginal tape, prolapse repair, sacrospinous fixation, Burch colposuspension. 

 

We also have a combined clinic with colorectal and urology specialists to look after women with complex pelvic floor disorders. Our Postnatal Assessment Clinic is the only clinic in Singapore specialising in assessing women who have had an instrumental delivery or third/fourth-degree perineal tear to prevent long-term pelvic floor issues.
