The Department of Internal Medicine provides cross-specialty care for patients with a wide spectrum of clinical conditions. Consultants in the department have had broad-based training in General Internal Medicine and in one or more subspecialties. The presence of clinicians with different subspecialty training in the department allows an integrated approach to patient care.
