CTRC was relocated to our new premises at the end of 2014.

Our new centre contains various rooms and facilities as follows:

CTRC contains essential equipment necessary for different trial requirements. Preventive checks are done for all equipment as per manufacturers' recommendations. Some equipment available includes:

Refrigerated Centrifuge
Biosafety Cabinet
Electrocardiogram (ECG)
Blood Pressure Machine
Volumetric Infusion Pump
Blood Glucose Meter
Drug Storage Refrigerators (2-8°C) and Freezer (-20°C)
Biological Samples Refrigerators (2-8°C) and Freezer (-20°C, -80°C)

The refrigerators and freezers for both subject biological samples and investigational products are connected to emergency back-up power supply in case of power shortage. These storage facilities are also connected to SGH Fault Reporting Centre (FRC) and a Temperature Monitoring System (TMS) for continuous temperature logging and monitoring.
