Profile

Dr Lee Kong Hwee is a senior consultant with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He sub-specialises in knee preservation work, such as complex osteotomies, knee distraction, meniscal transplants and ligament surgeries.

In 2019, Dr Lee completed a comprehensive knee fellowship with Professor Adrian Wilson in London, where he learned numerous novel knee preserving techniques. This expanded repertoire has allowed him to provide his patients more options in treating their knee conditions.

Currently, Dr Lee is the Director of Sports service and is spearheading his hospital’s efforts in knee preservation surgeries, and helping patients retain their biologic knees for as long as possible.
