​Influencing Behaviour Through Person-centred Approach (Part 2):
Promoting a Person-centred Care Culture to Support the Needs of Persons with Dementia

17 - 19 January & 17 February 2022

This course is an extension of Influencing Behaviour in Dementia Care Through Person-centred Approach course (Part 1).  In this advanced course, participants will expand on the prior knowledge gained in Part 1 towards promoting a person-centred care culture to support the needs of persons with dementia. The participants will learn about culture change and consider how person-centred care principles can be incorporated into care practices. The course will guide participants to develop and present case studies based on action plans and strategies designed to promote a shift towards a person-centred care environment. The presentation and discussion session will enable participants to deepen and expand their knowledge beyond direct patient care towards establishing a person-centred care culture.

Participants should have completed Part 1. Participants will have to come with a case study of an existing patient and an Enriched Model of Dementia Care Plan for this course.
