22 - 23 September 2022 (Main Session)

21 October 2022 (Extended Learning Session)

Ergonomics (or human factors) is the scientific discipline concerned with the understanding of interactions among humans and other elements of a system. It involves the application of theories, principles, data and methods to design in order to optimize human wellbeing and overall system performance.
This course serves to help participants understand and apply ergonomics or human factors principles to the workplaces.

Knowing how to apply ergonomics at work can help prevent musculoskeletal disorders and improve productivity.  You will be taught how to do conduct ergonomics evaluation for offices and industrial sites and give recommendations for workplace design among other interesting modules.

Participants are required to attend the face-to-face session on 23 September 2022 at the Therapy Skills Lab, Academia, SGH Campus.

Participants may choose to attend the Extended Learning session on 21 October 2022.
