Treatment Options for Migraine


​Migraine is a common headache disorder which affects the most economically-active strata of society. It is an unseen and misunderstood condition, yet it exerts significant disability, adversely affecting the quality of life of affected individuals. This lecture will explore the current understanding of migraine. In addition, current pharmacotherapeutic approaches, and novel therapeutic options in the horizon will be discussed. We trust that this primer will help pharmacists to better advice their patients.
