Emerging Pathogens

The world continues to see outbreaks of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, several of which have the potential to affect even urban Singapore.

In this short discourse, the reasons for this will be explained along with an overview of the various major outbreaks that have occurred in modern Singapore. Finally, how to prepare for such outbreaks in the future will be discussed.
