Atopic Eczema and Psoriasis are the most common inflammatory skin diseases worldwide.  The burden of disease is significant and quality of life is often impaired.  The mechanism of disease involves an interplay of genetics, skin barrier and inflammation as well as external triggers.  Optimal management involves stratifying the disease severity, choosing appropriate modality as well as addressing triggers and external factors.  In this talk, the clinical aspects of these diseases as well as broad principles of their management will be shared.


After the lecture, the participants will be able to:

  • Understand clinical aspects of atopic eczema and psoriasis
  • Explain broad principles of managing these diseases
