To ensure that our patients have enough rest, visiting hours are scheduled twice daily from 12 noon to 2.00pm and 5.00pm to 8.30pm.
Only two visitors may visit at any one time during visiting hours. We would also like to request that visitors be sensitive to the needs of other patients during visiting hours. Visitors and accompanying persons who travelled within the past 14 days will also not be allowed entry into SGH.

For infection control purposes, children below 12 years old are not permitted to visit.
If you have not informed your relatives and friends of your whereabouts in the Hospital, the Hospital's Information Counter staff will be able to assist them in locating the ward you are in.

The ICU is a restricted area due to the serious condition of patients warded there. As these patients require a lot of rest, only two visitors are allowed at any one time during visiting hours.
The AVMS helps to manage the number of visitors to the wards, allowing for a more convenient and hassle-free visit at SGH. The system also facilitates contact tracing for the safety of our patients and visitors when the need arises.
Visitors to wards and visitors accompanying patients for appointments, day procedures or surgery at Level 2 are also required to register.
