Specimen Required

​Pure culture of bacterial isolate on blood or nutrient agar slant/plate, sealed and transported in a leak-proof bag with accompanying request form stating name of referring laboratory and contact number of pathologist, source of isolate, patient particulars, salient clinical information and clinician-in-charge. Isolate should not be more than 24 hours old.
