SGH Rheumatology Patient Support Group

Synonym(s):

The Rheumatology Patient Support Group, initiated by the SGH Department of Rheumatology & Immunology (RHI) in 2014, provides a valuable opportunity for patients to connect with others who are experiencing similar health challenges.

The support group, supported by Rheumatology nurses, organise a range of activities, including painting, balloon sculpture, flower arrangement, eurhythmics, and terrarium. These activities, held at the Autoimmunity and Rheumatology Centre (ARC) provide patients with a fun and creative outlet to relax and connect with one another while receiving emotional support and a sense of community.

SGH RHI hopes to offer comprehensive care to patients by promoting social connections and emotional well-being alongside medical treatments.
