Home Sleep Study (WatchPAT)

You are requested to undergo the Ambulatory WatchPAT Study before consultation with the sleep specialist.The WatchPAT device is a home sleep monitoring system. It is a diagnostic aid for detecting sleep staging and sleep related breathing disorders. The WatchPAT device consists of 2 main sensors (unified pulse oximetry/PAT probe and integrated snore/body position). It is to be worn like a wristwatch, with the sensors applied to the patient’s hand and chest as per instructed by the technologist.

The following conditions must be met:

Patient must be well, not having fever, cough or actively coughing.
To remove any nail colour/lacquer or gel nails (if applicable).
To be able to attain 6 hours of sleep (recording).

Return of Device

You are required to return the device the following morning, weekday between 8.30am to 11.30am, Saturday before 10am at Sleep Centre, Singhealth Tower Level 3.

Fees

The range of the pricing is $129.39 to $301.91 (depending on the mean test) for subsidized patient.
