Dr Adrian Shoen Low is collaborating with NHCS cardiologist Tan Ru San and scientists Zhong Liang and Leng Shuang on the following research project: Deep Learning to detect Microvascular Obstruction on Non-contrast-enhanced Cine Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The team is looking to develop a fully automated method to identify MVO and myocardial scars using just the cine images from a routine cardiac MRI study. This would allow omission of the current practice of late gadolinium enhancement images to depict these entities.
