Welcome to Singapore General Hospital (SGH) – Division of Radiological Sciences

SGH is the nation's oldest and largest acute tertiary hospital, serving as both the flagship hospital within SingHealth and the principal teaching hospital for Duke-NUS Medical School. It consistently ranks among the world's best.

The Division of Radiological Sciences comprises the Department of Breast Imaging & Intervention (DBII), Department of Cardiothoracic and Abdominal Radiology (DCAR), Department of Musculoskeletal Radiology (DMR), Department of Neuroradiology (NRD), Department of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging (DNMMI), and Department of Vascular & Interventional Radiology (DVIR). Annually, the diagnostic departments provide close to 610,000 radiographic examinations, including more than 80,000 computerised tomographic (CT) scans, 50,000 magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, 60,000 ultrasounds, and 20,000 mammograms. DNMMI performs more than 32,000 nuclear medicine procedures and over 6,000 consultations and radionuclide therapies, while DVIR delivers more than 11,000 interventional radiology procedures annually. 

Our division houses Singapore's largest team of radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians, with nearly 70 subspecialty diagnostic and interventional radiologists and more than 15 nuclear medicine physicians. We provide comprehensive radiology services and are committed to delivering high-quality, value-added care that enhances patient outcomes through multidisciplinary clinical care, innovation and research, medical education, and new care models.
