Robot-assisted Walking Therapy

​Robot-assisted Walking Therapy is a form of physical therapy that uses a robotic treadmill with robotic gait orthosis and a virtual reality environment with a constant audio and visual feedback to help people to learn to walk again. This can include those whom have suffered from stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, neurological or orthopaedic conditions. Patients will be screened by a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician and if deemed suitable, a referral will be made for patient to undergo Robot-assisted Walking Therapy to simulate physiologic walking.
