​7 tubes of 3 mL blood containing 0.3 mL of 3.2% sodium citrate.

Send to the lab as soon as possible.

Specimen should be kept at room temperature and should not be kept in ice.

ADP 5uM – 59 – 107%
Collagen 2ug/ml – 72 – 109%
Epinephrine 5uM – 68 – 103%
Arachidonic acid 0.5mM – 67 – 105%
Ristocetin 1.2mg/ml – 80 – 104%

Patient to fast overnight prior to test and should not be on anti-platelet medication for at least 2 weeks for investigation of bleeding disorder
