Lab Section Category	Cytology – Non-gynaecological Cytology View write-up
Specimen Required	1. Collect neat specimen in a sterile container 2. Indicate in the CPOE order that specimen is for "differential cell count" and ensure that the order is vetted and completed to avoid delay in specimen processing 3. A separate specimen and CPOE order should be sent if routine cytology is also required
Storage/Transport	Specimen should be transported at 4°C (on ice) to the laboratory immediately (within 1 hour of collection). Specimens should NOT be transported frozen or on dry ice.
