Specimen Required	Cultured Fixed Cells in a cryotube/microcentrifuge tube.
Method	G-banded chromosomes on mounted slides.
Test Results	Normal or Abnormal. If Abnormal, the karyotypic abnormality is described in accordance to the International System for Human Cytogenomic Nomenclature (ISCN, 2024).
Turnaround Time	14 ~ 21 days
Day(s) Test Set up	Monday – Saturday (office hours)
Remarks	Contact the Cytogenetics Laboratory before sending a specimen. Indicate clearly the clinical diagnosis on the Cytogenetics request form or CPOE.
