The department manages a broad spectrum of Endocrine conditions of varying degrees of complexity and severity. Together with the wealth of clinical experience held by the department’s physicians and allied healthcare team, this has fostered a rich and dynamic learning environment for the next generation of healthcare professionals. 

 

Singapore General Hospital is one of the ACGME accredited centres for advanced training in Endocrinology. As the first Endocrine unit in Singapore was established in Singapore General Hospital, we have a strong history as an Endocrinology specialist training centre. The SingHealth Endocrinology program is a structured three-year program that equips trainees with the medical knowledge, interpersonal skills, professional attitudes, and practical competence required to be an exemplary Endocrinologist.

 

 

 

Our specialists serve as clinical tutors and active contributors to undergraduate medical training for the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
