SGH 205 Dance for Patients FAQ

1. Who can participate in the SGH205 Dance for Patients? 

Of course! Everyone is welcomed. Children under 13 can join in the fun too! 🕺💃 A parent or guardian should post on social media and make any donations on their behalf.

3. Where can I learn the dance and share my video?

🕺 Learn the official dance on SGH Giving's Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or the Give.Asia campaign page. Then share your video on your favourite platform, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more! 

4. Can I join if I don't dance or don't have social media?

Absolutely! You can still support the campaign by donating, no dancing or social media account required. ❤️ 

5. Where does my donation go?

100% of your donation goes to the SGH Needy Patients Fund, helping patients in need access essential treatment, medication, medical equipment, transport, nutritional support, and other recovery-related care. 💝 

6. How much help is needed?

Every year, the SGH Needy Patients Fund needs at least S$1 million to support about 2,000 patients facing financial hardship. Many are subsidised patients, elderly individuals, or families with a household Per Capita Income of S$650 and below. 100% of your gift will go directly towards the SGH Needy Patients Fund, providing essential financial assistance to patients during treatment and recovery after exhausting available assistance schemes, including Medifund. 

7. What about tax deduction and tax receipts? 

Singapore tax residents will receive 250% tax deduction. Please provide your NRIC/FIN when making the donation on Give.Asia. If you require a receipt, please contact giftstosgh@sgh.com.sg.
