Dr Leonard Eng

Dr Leonard Eng is a Consultant with the Department of Psychiatry at Singapore General Hospital, and the SingHealth Duke-NUS Sleep Centre, with sub-specialty interests in sleep medicine, and neurostimulation therapies for psychiatric disorders. 

He received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Manchester, UK, and returned to Singapore where he completed his specialty training in Psychiatry in 2020. He was awarded the SingHealth Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Fellowship Award in 2024, and underwent fellowship training in Sleep Medicine, at Northwestern University in Chicago, USA.

Dr Eng is actively involved in clinical education. He oversees psychiatry residency training with roles such as Associate Programme Director for the NHG Psychiatry Residency Programme, and an examiner for the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor, and regularly teaches at the Duke-NUS Medical School and NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
