About

Dr Cindy Goh is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Singapore General Hospital. A distinguished graduate of the University of Cambridge, she achieved First Class Honours her pre-clinical years and completed her medical degree (MBBChir) with a distinction in Pathology. Her surgical training includes experience in both the UK's National Health Service and Singapore's healthcare system. She undertook her specialist training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery with the SingHealth Residency programme. During this time, she received the Outstanding Resident Award in Plastic Surgery in 2018 and 2019. She was awarded the Gold Medal by the College of Surgeons Singapore for her performance at the national Plastic Surgery board examinations.

Her clinical interests are centred around aesthetic and microsurgical reconstruction of the human body, with particular focus on breast surgery and body contouring. Her research contributions span various aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is actively working on expanding the breast reconstruction service at Singapore General Hospital and driving value-drive care initiatives related to breast reconstruction. She regularly runs didactic teaching sessions for the residents and medical students in the department and has been a table instructor at various workshops - suturing skills, microsurgical skills and cadaver anatomical dissection.
