Dr Takano A M

Dr Takano is a general pathologist with additional certification in Cytopathology. She completed four years of training in Pathology at Harvard University in Boston, followed by two years of Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology Fellowship at Harford Hospital in Connecticut, and one year of Oncologic Pathology training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Dr Takano expertise is in neoplastic pathology and cytopathology. Her current interest is pulmonary pathology, both neoplastic and non-neoplastic. She cooperates closely with the pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons and oncologists in clinical diagnosis, research and teaching.
