Dr Li Zongxian graduated from the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2010. He completed his specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery and was appointed as Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
Dr Li’s subspecialty interest is in foot and ankle surgery, lower limb arthroplasty, as well as trauma and acute care orthopaedics.
His professional ethos is that the orthopaedic surgeon plays a unique role in adding to quality to life. As such, he strongly advocates for evidence-based medicine and education to promote better quality of patient care.
He was awarded the Ministry of Health Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) scholarship and completed fellowships in 2 leading tertiary centres in the United Kingdom. The Royal London Hospital, a prestigious high volume trauma centre, as well as The Wrightington Hospital, a tertiary referral centre for regional foot and ankle deformities, arthroplasty and revision surgeries.
Dr Li has published and presented his research findings in both local and international conferences and medical journals. He is also actively involved in medical education of both undergraduate and post-graduate training programs.
