About Doctor

Dr Er is a Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine at Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He completed Internal Medicine Residency (2014) and Advanced Internal Medicine (AIM) Senior Residency (2016) under National Healthcare Group (NHG), followed by a venous thromboembolism (VTE) fellowship at St Thomas' Hospital, London. He subsequently continued his practice within NHG at Woodlands Health (WH) before transitioning to SGH in February 2026.


Dr Er is committed to medical education, serving as Adjunct Assistant Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and Adjunct Lecturer at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He is a question setter/examiner for the national Advanced Internal Medicine (AIM) Exit Exam and faculty for the NUS Collaborative Prescribing Programme. He has received multiple Teaching Excellence Awards.


Dr Er believes strongly in delivering patient-centred, value-based care, where clinical decisions are guided not only by evidence but also by patients’ goals, preferences and long-term outcomes.
