About

Dr Ong Shin Yeu is a Senior Consultant at the Department of Haematology at Singapore General Hospital and excels in clinical care of patients receiving immunotherapy for Lymphoma. She is also a talented researcher and clinical trialist with expertise in Lymphoma and Immunotherapy. After receiving a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University, USA, Dr Ong received medical training from Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, Singapore, and graduated the top of her class in Medicine with the Soo Khee Chee Award. Dr Ong has authored or co-authored more than 50 publications in prominent journals including Nature Cancer, Science & Translational Medicine, and American Journal of Hematology. She was recognized for research excellence with the Singhealth Soo Kee Chee Publish award.  Dr Ong received cell therapy training at the prestigious City of Hope Medical Center, Duarte, USA where she gained expertise in care of patients receiving commercial and trial cell therapy products. Upon her return, Dr Ong was also awarded the prestigious NMRC clinical trial grant investigating cell therapy. Over the years, Dr Ong's commitment to improve patient care and support patients through every aspect of their journey has earned multiple “Service with the heart" awards.
