About Doctor

 

Dr. Ng’s academic journey began with his graduation from National University of Malaysia. He enhanced his professional credentials by obtaining membership with Royal College of Physicians, London, UK. Dr. Ng then underwent training in internal medicine and haematology under the Singhealth Residency programme, culminating in his qualification as a haematologist recognised by the Singapore Specialist Accreditation Board.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ng has developed a strong clinical interest in lymphoma. His expertise extends to bone marrow transplantation and CAR-T therapy. Additionally, Dr. Ng is passionate about geriatric haematology, a field that focuses on unique challenges of treating older adults with blood disorders.

In recognition of his dedication to advancing his knowledge and skills, Dr. Ng was awarded the HMDP grant by MOH Singapore. This grant enabled him to pursue specialized training in geriatric haematology at the esteemed Wilmot Cancer Institute, University of Rochester Medical Center, New York. During his training, he focused on targeted immunotherapy and cellular therapy in older adults with lymphoma.

As an active participant in clinical research, Dr. Ng served as a principal investigator in several Phase 2/3 lymphoma clinical trials. His research publications have focused on lymphoma, stem cell transplant, and geriatric haematology. Dr. Ng is also dedicated to education. As a Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, he teaches and mentors undergraduate and postgraduate students
