Assoc Prof Chan Weng Hoong

Graduated in 1991 MBBS (S’pore), completed basic surgical training FRCS (Edinburgh) and M. Med (Surgery, S’pore) in 1997. Completed specialist training in General Surgery in 2000 with Specialist Accreditation in General Surgery. Underwent further subspecialist training in of upper gastro-intestinal diseases especially stomach cancer in National Cancer Centre, Tokyo in 2002.

With special interest in:
* Comprehensive management of Stomach Cancer: Endoscopic diagnosis, endoscopic resection, laparoscopic gastrectomy, open gastrectomy, combined multi-organ stomach resection

* Surgical oncology in Esophagus, Stomach, Pancreas and Colon Cancer

* Laparoscopic surgery for gallbladder, stomach and hernia

* Diagnostic and thepapeutic endoscopy in Stomach, Colon and Hepato-biliary diseases
