About

Dr Suresh Rama Chandran is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Endocrinology at the Singapore General Hospital. He graduated with honours in MBBS, 2004 from JIPMER, India; completed his post-graduate Internal Medicine training in 2009 and obtained MRCP (UK) in 2010. He completed his specialist training in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Singapore General Hospital in 2016. He completed a 1-year clinical research fellowship at the King’s College Hospital, London,  focussing on  the holistic care of people with type 1 diabetes and the use of technology to improve outcomes for people with type 1 diabetes while reducing the burden of self-care. His research interests are in the optimal use of continuous glucose monitoring and the integration of technology into the daily lives of people with diabetes to improve their care.
