Assoc Prof Kenneth Tan Boon Kiat

Associate Professor Tan Boon Kiat Kenneth is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He previously served as Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine from 2009 to 2026 and has been a member of the department since his days as a Registrar. He is a dedicated clinician, educator and leader with a strong interest in medical toxicology, and holds a Master of Science in Medical Toxicology.

Prof Kenneth is actively involved in teaching, holding appointments as Adjunct Associate Professor with Duke-NUS Medical School and as Clinical Core Faculty Member (CCFM) with the SingHealth Emergency Medicine Residency Program. He was a recipient of the Outstanding Faculty Award, RISE Award in 2015. In addition, Prof Kenneth contributes as a member of the Society of Emergency Medicine and the Toxicology Society of Singapore.
