About Doctor

Dr Andrew Ho practices Emergency Medicine at Singapore General Hospital. He trained in Emergency Medicine at SingHealth Residency which he completed as Chief Resident and also Clinician Scientist resident. He received fellowship training in Pre-hospital Emergency Medical Care. His PhD thesis centred on epidemiological and population health approaches in sudden cardiac arrest.

He is also Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, jointly appointed by the Emergency Medicine Academic Clinical Program and the Pre-hospital and Emergency Research Center. As a clinician-researcher, he has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals on pertinent topics in Emergency Medicine. He is listed on Stanford University World's Top 2% Scientists (Categories: Clinical Medicine, Emergency & Critical Care). Internationally he serves on committees such as the ILCOR EIT Taskforce and IFEM Research Committee. As faculty of the Emergency Medicine residency program as well as the local medical schools, he mentors specialist trainees and medical students.

His current research and clinical interests are in applying Artificial Intelligence innovations and population health approaches to cardiovascular emergencies like acute myocardial infarction and sudden cardiac arrest.
