Dr Dorinda Chew is a Consultant Radiologist at SGH. She completed her specialist training, earning her MMed (Diagnostic Radiology) from NUS and FRCR from the RCR (UK). A top graduate in SingHealth Residency Programme (2022), she was named valedictorian and served as Chief Resident.
Dr Chew currently serves as Deputy Director for Medical Student Education (Electives) in RADSC ACP, overseeing curriculum development and coordination of clinical attachments for local and overseas medical students. Her educational efforts extend across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a strong emphasis on mentorship.
Demonstrating a commitment to environmental stewardship, she also serves as the Lead Radiologist in Sustainability Efforts in the Division, driving initiatives to reduce radiological waste, promote responsible imaging practices and sustainable departmental operations.
Her contributions to the broader radiology community include serving on the Executive Committee of the Singapore Radiological Society and was the founding Chair of the Junior Forum of the College of Radiologists Singapore (2021-2023). The Forum was established to support young radiologists through mentorship and peer engagement. She also plays a key role in organising and delivering the annual Singapore Congress of Radiology, collaborating with both local and international radiologists.
Dr Chew’s clinical interests include musculoskeletal emergency imaging and oncology imaging. Outside work, Dr Chew enjoys traveling, spending time with family and reading.
