Dr Jacklyn Yek is an Anaesthesiologist and Pain Physician practising at Singapore General Hospital. She has a special clinical interest in high-risk obstetric anaesthesia and interventional pain medicine, with a focus on neuromodulation and complex chronic pain.
Dr Yek graduated with an M.B.B.S. from the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, in 2013 and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2014. She subsequently completed her Anaesthesiology residency training in SingHealth and obtained her Master of Medicine (Anaesthesiology) in 2019.
During her residency, Dr Yek served as Chief Resident from 2020 to 2022 and was selected to participate in the Singapore Chief Residency Programme.
In 2026, Dr Yek completed a fellowship in Neuromodulation at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, Canada, gaining specialised experience in the management of complex pain conditions and advanced neuromodulation therapies. Her fellowship training encompassed spinal cord stimulation (SCS), dorsal root ganglion (DRG) stimulation, craniofacial pain and chronic pelvic pain.
