Dr Jane Mary George

Dr Jane George is a trained Anaesthesiologist with a special interest in pain management. She believes in adopting a multidisciplinary patient centred approach to chronic and cancer pain management emphasizing patient education and co-management with various sub-specialties. Pain problems managed include cancer, neuropathic, musculoskeletal and visceral pain. She believes in appropriate, relevant use of interventional pain management procedures to reduce dependence on medication and improve function. Her goal is to achieve a reasonable level of function within realistic expectations so that patients can work and engage in meaningful activities.

Dr Jane George also has an interest in research, teaching and training. As visiting consultant to Hospice Care Association, Singapore, she is also involved in the problems in the care of cancer patients.
