Kidney Transplant Coordinator (TC) plays a vital role in guiding patients and donors through the entire kidney transplant journey. The TC prepares waitlisted patients to remain medically ready, coordinates essential tests and clinical assessment, and support potential living donors through their evaluations and logistics. Working closely with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals, the TC ensures timely care, informed consent, clear communication at every stage. Following transplant, the TC oversees follow-up appointments, reviews lab results and medications, and provides ongoing education to help recipients maintain long-term health.
