In Singapore General Hospital, psychologists support the psychological, neuropsychological, and emotional needs of patients through provision of psychotherapy and neuropsychological assessments.
Our team of psychologists provide psychotherapy services to help patients develop deeper personal insights and make meaningful changes for a more fulfilling life. With psychological safety as our cornerstone, we aim to guide patients to learn coping skills to improve management of their mental health and navigate through life challenges.
We also provide neuropsychological assessments to help establish/clarify diagnosis, assist with treatment planning, assess strengths and weaknesses in our patient’s thinking abilities, as well as monitor changes in their cognition over time. Our pool of patients commonly includes individuals experiencing cognitive changes due to conditions such as dementia, stroke, brain injuries, and other neurological disorders.
