The Department of Psychiatry provides a comprehensive integrated multi-disciplinary service in the management of patients with psychological and psychiatric disorders. 

Backed by a multi-disciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers and occupational therapists, the department offers a full range of specialty services to meet the individual needs of our patients.

Psychologist needs to assess the patients, often involves talking to patients at length and observing them in order to determine what the underlying problem might be. Psychologist concentrates on the mind, emotions, and human behaviour of patients. He/she utilizes therapy to help the patient regain their sense of wellness.
