Profile

Dr Warren Fong is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology, Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He graduated from National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and completed his Advanced Specialty Training in Rheumatology in SGH in 2014. 
 
Dr Fong’s area of interest is in inflammatory arthritis. In 2013, Dr Fong was awarded the Manpower Development Plan Fellowship for further training in the use of advanced therapeutics in the management of patients with inflammatory arthritis, as well as incorporating translational research through the conduct of early-phase trials at the Department of Rheumatology of University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and the NIHR Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility.
 
With a keen interest in medical education, Dr Fong is currently the Department’s Director of Postgraduate Education, Associate Program Director for SingHealth Internal Medicine Residency Program and Assistant Program Director for SingHealth Rheumatology Senior Residency Program. He is heavily involved in planning educational programmes for postgraduates and has conducted medical education research and presented his findings in regional conferences such as the Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference (APMEC).
