User Guide for Radiology Thumbdrive (Stick version)

Please read the instructions before inserting the thumbdrive in your computer.

PLEASE NOTE

• It is known that some PCs’ antivirus software might delete the application file (decrypt_win.exe) to read the images within the thumbdrive.
• Before first use/insertion of the thumbdrive, ensure that your antivirus is temporarily disabled as a precaution.

1. Through Windows Security Settings:

• In the search bar, look up “Virus & threat protection”.
  

• Select the option “Virus & threat protection”.
  

• Locate “Virus & threat protection settings” and click “Manage settings”.
  

• Turn off the “Real-time protection is off, leaving your device vulnerable” option
  

2. Through third-party antivirus software:

• Please refer to the relevant third-party antivirus user guide.

Step 1

Slide the handle on the side of the thumb drive to release the USB.
