Meet our Researchers

Dr Andrea Low.jpg

When major organ complications develop in Systemic Sclerosis, a patient's life-span is significantly reduced. Current treatments largely manage the symptoms alone and are not effective in preventing the progression of disease. We hope to be able to detect major organ complications earlier and to discover new treatments for our patients.

Pathology is the silent detective of medicine, unravelling the mysteries of diseases hidden within tissues and cells. With each breakthrough, we hope to illuminate new pathways towards understanding diseases, find the right diagnosis and pave the way to discover better cures for improved patient care outcomes.
